Daryn is currently in private practice, specializing in adolescent and family issues. He sees patients in two locations, with offices in Dayville and West Hartford Connecticut.
Other areas of expertise include consultation for group care programs and their staff. Lectures, family workshops and other public speaking conversations focused on engaging parents and their children as part of the community.
Prior to working fulltime in private practice, he was the Director of Shelter Services and the Assistant Clinical Director for the Whitmarsh House program in Providence, RI. Outside of his administrative responsibilities, the majority of work was clinical, individual, family and group counseling. He also collaborated on the development of specialized groups and supervised student intern programs.
Daryn has 20+ years of experience working in human services. He is a graduate of the Boston University School of Social work and has been involved with many community and professional associations’ including NASW and the Putnam PRIDE Board.
